Testosterone and Estrogen Estrogen is necessary in the body in small amounts for maintaining healthy blood profiles, maintaining bone density, glycogen synthesis and various other functions. In females it is obviously required in larger amounts for primary female characteristics. However, in males, estrogen in amounts higher than necessary can be detrimental to your physique. You only have to look at a man with a bad case of gynecomastia (“gyno”) to realise this. Not to mention, estrogen can cause water retention that obscures definition, confiscating the “hard” look we are after as bodybuilders. The Aromatase Enzyme Males do not have organs that manufacture estrogen. Instead, they derive estrogen by producing testosterone, some of which is then converted into estrogen when needed. This is done by an enzyme called aromatase. The body strikes a balance between levels of testosterone and estrogen. Should anything upset this balance, the body tries its best to correct the problem. Therefore, if estrogen levels are lowered, your body increases testosterone and aromatase production in order to re-establish normal estrogen levels. Introducing Rebound XT™ ATD, the active ingredient present in Rebound XT™, is an aromatase inhibitor (“AI”). Unlike non-steroidal AI such as anastrazole or letrozole that bind to the aromatase enzyme but can later detach, ATD binds to the enzyme irreversibly, essentially committing suicide in the process (“suicidal inhibition”). Once attached, the AI cannot be separated from the aromatase enzyme, and so the substrate must be metabolised by the body. In a bid to maintain homeostasis and re-establish normal estrogen levels, the body bolsters testosterone production and also increases aromatase concentrations. Of course, with the presence of ATD, aromatising (to a significant degree) will not occur. The net result of supplementing with Rebound XT™ is lowered estrogen levels and increased testosterone levels – an excellent environment for adding lean mass and stripping away unwanted body fat. One of the benefits of a steroidal AI over non-steroidal AI is the ability to maintain or improve healthy cholesterol and blood profiles. While long-term use of Rebound XT™ will eventually lead to disruptions within the body regarding cholesterol and blood profiles, due to constant estrogen suppression, shorter 6-8 week cycles can be performed without these issues arising. Designer Supplements recommends cycling lengths of no longer than 12 weeks at a time, with at least half of this duration “off” the product. An excessive level of estrogen is no longer a problem with Rebound XT™, and now there is a product on the market that not only claims to increase endogenous testosterone levels, but it actually does increase testosterone levels. Worked.. June 10, 2006 Reviewer: KRUPS   I used this as a standalone and with my pct, both worked great how it was suppose to. It did kill my libido but that went away when i lowered the dose, other then that, increase strength and kept most of my size. Was this review helpful to you?

Good stuff! March 17, 2006 Reviewer: conanster   I used this as a standalone @ 50 mgs per day. I got bloodwork done once right before I started and twice while taking this (first time at 3 weeks and the second time at 4 weeks in). Total test went from 652 (baseline) to >850 for the other two tests (off the chart). Free test went up considerably as well. Only negative was is temporarily lowered my sex drive for the last two weeks of useage. Was this review helpful to you?
