Does the FDA regulate Prolong-Rx?
The FDA regulates all food, dietary supplements, cosmetics and drugs. As a dietary supplement made from all natural ingredients which are recognized by the FDA, Prolong-Rx must meet the qualifications and standards set by the FDA for dietary supplements.
Is insurance reimbursement available for Prolong-Rx?
Prolong-Rx is an all natural dietary supplement which does not require a prescription and has not been assigned an NDC (National Drug Code). Traditional prescription card programs do not usually cover dietary supplements because by definition they are intended for prescription only items. We are not aware of the availability of insurance reimbursement for Prolong-Rx.
Prolong-Rx for Men was studied under a double-blind, placebo-controlled, 2-way crossover test involving 50 male subjects ages 19-65. 25 were given Prolong-Rx and 25 were given a Placebo. The cross sections were divided based upon age group. The placebo was matched to the active test article based on viscosity, fragrance, color, absorbency, and lubricity. Subjects were asked to take Prolong-Rx on a regular basis, 45 minutes before sexual activity, for a two month period and were then examined after one and two months for results. The subjects had to reach the criteria of engaging in sexual activity at least twice a week.
Test results concluded that Prolong-Rx was safe and extremely effective. Prolong-Rx significantly increased the ability to gain erection, the ability to sustain an erection, sexual desire, and decreased the recovery time between sexual encounters and orgasms.
